Hyderabad, August 18: The Communist Party of India (CPI) has
announced its decision to launch a state-wide agitation against the
‘Liquor Mafia’ in the State from August 20 to October 2.
Party State Secretary Dr K Narayana, speaking to the media here today, said there are 1.50 lakh belt shops in the State, and their income has exceeded the State Budget. The Liquor Mafia is running a parallel Government in the State, he regretted.(NSS)
