Cops suspect driver killed missing man

Hyderabad, July 23: The body of deputy director of AP Texts Book Printing Press, Michael Angelo, who was missing since July 13, was found at Gandicheru on Friday. The police suspect that he was strangulated to death by his driver for money. On Friday morning the police received a call regarding an unidentified body at Gandicheru. The Hayatnagar and Saidabad police arrived at the spot and shifted the body to the Osmania hospital for autopsy. The deceased’s family members identified the body there.

“Michael was looking for a plot for his sister and he might have been carrying some money with him. His driver might have killed him for the money on July 13,” said police sources. It is suspected that Michael was with the driver of a woman with whom he was allegedly having an affair. “The driver is absconding and we are in search of him. We have also altered the Sections to 302 (murder) and 379 (theft) of IPC,” said DCP East Zone, Mr Y. Gangadhar.
