Hyderabad, December 31: Right to Education act is among the distinct qualities of a welfare state. This act holds the government responsible for providing education to every citizen of the country. The act is also welcomed in the country as well as strongly criticized by some corners.
One article of this act is an effort to finish off the constitutional rights of minorities. With this act Muslims will not be able to run their madarsas and religious educational institutions. These views were expressed by Syed Sadatullah Husain member markazi shura Jamat-e-Islami Hind while addressing a convention of Jamat-e-Islami Jubilee Hills.
He said that the three new laws against which Muslim Personal Law Board has decided to launce a campaign include Tax regulation act and waqf act besides Right to Education Act.
