Exuding confidence that the Congress would emerge victorious wherever Velama community was present in the State, newly-joined Congress leader and Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy today said, adding that the people will not accept the family rule in the Telangana State. He also predicted that his party would bag more seats in North Telangana than in the South in 2019 Assembly elections.
In an informal talk with scribes here, Revanth Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who had stated that his family would have nothing to do with politics, has fielded his total family into politics. He alleged that BJP chief Amith Shah was behind the TRS and MIM pledged support to the JDS in Karnataka elections with an intention to harm the interests of Congress by increasing the number of seats to JDS.
