TPCC Vice-President and ex-MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday said that the Congress party would reorganise all the districts if it returns to power in 2019 elections.
Speaking to media persons, Ponnam alleged that the State Government was not carrying out the process of districts’ reorganisation in a proper manner. He said that the approach adopted by the government was totally unscientific. He said none of over one lakh suggestions and objections received for formation of new districts were being incorporated by the government. Therefore, he said that the Congress party would review and revise the districts being created now by TRS Government after returning to power in next elections.
Ponnam also said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was not serious on districts reorganisation and using it as a tool to divert people’s attention from the failure of his government. (INN)
