Mumbai, August 14: Shiv Sena Executive chief Uddhav Thackeray yesterday lashed out at the Congress saying that the party needed everything imported, including a leader.
His comments came in the backdrop of Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan’s comments that the government will hire foreign coaches to train upcoming sportspersons from the State.
“Now, Chavan has announced to appoint foreign coaches.
The country is already importing food items like wheat and milk. They (Congress) need everything imported and an imported leader also,” Uddhav said during a function to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the party’s weekly ‘Marmik’ here.
Chavan had made the comments while felicitating shooter Tejaswini Sawant yesterday.
Uddhav said the state government was not doing anything to control the rise of malaria in the Mumbai.
