Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today alleged that the Congress was trying to misguide people in Warangal for byepoll gain. The Congress should first apologise and then take up campaigning for failing to keep their promises, he demanded.
Addressing an election meeting in Waarangal on Monday, Harish Rao said the TRS kept all the promises it made except KG-to-PG scheme. The 18-month-old TRS Government has implemented most of the promises except that of KG to PG intensive free education, Harish Rao said. The minister demanded that the Congress leaders first apologize for failing to implement 2009 manifesto promises during previous regime. They failed to keep the promises and trying to malign the TRS Government, he said. (NSS)
