Hyderabad: Intermediate Board of Education today informed the High Court that it will complete the re-verification process of Intermediate examination papers by May 18.
The court heard the petitions on Monday on Inter results and failure on part of the officials that led to suicides by some students which rattled the State. The court sought to know the details of how many students qualified after re-verification and recounting of marks in exam papers so far. On this, the Board officials said they can complete the process by May 8.
The advocate on behalf of the petitioner, has sought re-verification of the answer papers. The court also directed the BIE officials to complete first the re-verification and said to take further steps based on number of qualifying candidates. The court also expressed concern over the suicides by Intermediate students and termed it as unfortunate and posted the case for next hearing to May 8.
