Telangana Waqf Board has lodged a complaint with Kulsoompura police station against the mutavalli of Dargah Hazrat Durvesh Mohiuddin Quadri located at Karwan for selling the Waqf land attached to the Dargah.
Sending the letter to the police, Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board stated that during Waqf Board enquiry it was found that the mutavalli has sold 3 acre Waqf land. Waqf Board has to say that this move of mutavalli is illegal and he didn’t seek permission from Waqf Board in this regard. Hence Waqf Board has decided to act against the mutavalli under section 52 (A) of Waqf Act 1995.
The Dargah has a graveyard, naqarkhana, khanqah and agricultural land attached to it.
