Nepal UDMF calls PM’s visit to India ‘unsuccessful’

Kathmandu:The agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) of Nepal has claimed that Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli’s recent state visit to India was completely unsuccessful.

Top leaders of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) are holding a meeting at the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal office today to discuss next phase of protest programmes, reports The Himalayan Times.

This is the first meeting after the expansion of the Front.

The UDMF has been protesting the number and boundaries of provinces in the constitution.

The UDMF on February 12 had inducted three more parties National Madhes Socialist Party, Nepal Sadbhawana Party and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum- Republican into it.

These three parties were the constituents of the Federal Inclusive Madhesi Alliance.

With the entry of three more parties in the UDMF, it has now become a front of seven political parties.(ANI)
