Moga, July 16: A girl was allegedly abducted by four persons, one of whom was known to the victim, from Dannuwala village here, police said today.
A case has been filed against four persons, including prime accused Pardeep Singh, on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother.
The girl, who studies in a college at Abohar, was abducted yesterday.
Victim’s mother in her complaint had alleged that Singh had abducted and raped her daughter in May and since then is evading arrest.
She also alleged that Singh had earlier been threatening the family and wanted to extort money from them.
