Hyderabad: In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, cold waves still continues.
Met office sources reported that due to cold waves, in Telangana, 18 persons died whereas, in AP, 20 deaths have occurred.
Minimum temperature has been recorded as 11 degree Celsius. In forest areas, intense cold waves are experienced.
In Hyderabad, Sky is cloudy. The sunrays are not reaching the ground.
Met. office informed that mercury might still come down and cold weather condition is likely to continue for a few more days.
People were seen taking various steps to keep themselves warm. Fog is seen on the roads during morning hours.
Morning walkers are also facing difficulties in this weather. Some people are sitting near the fire to keep themselves warm.
In Adilabad, mercury was recorded at 5-8 degree Celsius. The number of patients in hospitals has increased. Many patients are suffering from cold, cough and fever.
