Hyderabad: As part of good governance and to maintain transparency in implementing government schemes, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today wanted an application to prepare a bank comprising complete information of people. The previous governments failed to use latest technology, offer good governance and compile information of the people, he said.
At a review meeting at CMO, KCR said a new application using latest technology should be available with all departments as part of good governance. “We need to involve people in development process and the new app will prove handy for effective mechanism”, he said. A comprehensive bank of information pertaining to people will prove handy for schemes implementation and identify suspicious persons during any incidents and also find tax evaders, KCR noted.
Mee Seva Commissioner G T Venkateshwar Rao, CP Mahender Reddy, top police official Nagi Reddy, IT expert Sridhar Reddy and Jeevan Reddy attended the meeting. (NSS)
