Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will launch the Mee Seva Centres in Krishna and Medak districts on May 2 and 3rd respectively.
Talking to reporters at the State Secretariat media point here on Monday, Information Technology Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah said that following the success of Mee Seva services, which were launched in Chittoor district on pilot basis, the services would be launched across the State beginning with Krishna district on May 2. He said Mee Seva centres would be opened in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh by July this year.
Further, the State Government would also launch Smart Cards for the beneficiaries of welfare schemes. However, he said the government would seek the permission of Election Commission to launch the Mee Seva services in districts where by-elections are to be held on June 12. (INN)
