A two-day national level Public Service Commission Conference will be conducted in here on February 4 and 5, Telangana State Public Service Commission Chairman Prof Ghanta Chakrapani stated.
Addressing the media along with members here, Chakrapani said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will inaugurate the conference on the first day and Governor ESL Narasimhan will address the concluding session. The conference will deliberate on the best examination practices, exchange of views on the lines of UPSC which is known for hassle-free conduct of examinations avoiding inconvenience of cumbersome process.
Prof Chakrapani also said Telangana has the biggest Commission at national level and adopted latest technologies. The TSPSC got accolades from other PSCs as it successfully conducted most of the examinations in short time and online. In just four months, the TSPSC conducted nine examinations in an innovative and modern methods, he claimed. “We are first to adopt and make maximal use of available technology that fetched us two awards”, he said. Prof Chakrapani said for the first time, the Commission conducted the examinations online and avoided inconvenience to the candidates. (NSS)
