Hyderabad, May 15: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will have a meeting with Union Minister of state (independent charge) for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public distribution Prof K V Thomas here on May 16.
The Chief Minister has convened a high level meeting along with the concerned officials between 0930 hours to 1030 hours to discuss with the Union Minister about various important issues.
An official release said here last night that the issues to be reviewed are rabi procurement, Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers, export of 15 lakh Metric Tonnes of boiled rice and 10 lakh Metric Tonnes of raw rice to other countries, movement of boiled rice to other states, allotment of more rakes to move rice to other states and construction of godown space for stocking 10 lakh Metric Tonnes.
