Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed happiness at the Telangana State for standing number one in the country in “Ease of Doing Business”.
The Chief Minister said clinching number one position on ease of doing business at national level is a good result and attributed it to the team work of officials concerned. Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitaraman announced the rankings, given by the Centre and World Bank, for States on ease of doing business in which Telangana got 98.78 marks and also Andhra Pradesh got same position. KCR also asked them to focus on reaching out the unreached with welfare schemes. He noted that simplified and easy services will give good results. The government policies remained inspirational to the industrialists, businessmen and companies coming with investments in the State.
The rankings given by the Centre and World Bank based on performance of 340 wings through a comprehensive study, KCR said and congratulated the officials and staff for the rankings. He expressed satisfaction for achieving more marks for transparency, single window policy, land availability, construction permissions and environment protection and simpler policies attracted the industrialists and businessmen in a big way and Telangana which got 13th position last year stood first this year KCR claimed.
“As many as 2,550 industrialists and businessmen forayed into the State with their own type of businesses in the State appreciating our hassle-free policies”, the Chief Minister said and instructed the officials and staff to continue the same spirit and give speedy and easy services at the doorsteps of people.
