CM expresses Shock over Film Club Incident; Mayor announces Rs.2 lakh exgratia

The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed shock over the Film Club incident where two laborer died on the spot. The Chief Minister directed the officials to extend effective medical care to the injured persons. YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy too expressed deep shock over the incident.

 

City Mayor B Rammohan announced Rs.2 lakh exgratia to the bereaved families. Speaking on the occasion, Rammohan said that the government was extending effective treatment to the persons injured in the incident. He made it clear that no permission has been taken to the building extension. The incident took place because the builder constructed slab within 48 hours. The action will be taken against the persons caused for the death of two labor and the cases will booked against the contractor and others.

City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy described the Film Club incident as unfortunate one. He visited the spot and said that the police, fire, NDRF and GHMC staff were in relief works. He made it clear that they will take up inquiry into the incident.
