New Delhi: It was a clear Friday morning with minimum temperature recorded at 7.7 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, weather officials said.
“The sky will remain clear in the day with shallow/moderate fog at few places and dense to very dense fog in the isolated areas in the morning,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
Dense fog engulfed the national capital on Thursday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius, season’s average, officials at the weather office said.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature was likely to hover around 25 degree Celsius, and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 per cent.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled at 23.9 degrees Celsius, the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius, the season’s average.
