Hyderabad: Civil Service coaching to minority students will begin soon. Minority Welfare Department has decided to select two batches for coaching this year and the notification is likely to be issued soon.
Last year Civil Service coaching could not be arranged for minority students hence coaching for the 62 students selected last year will begin at the earliest. Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel told that a committee will be formed to identify the institutions in which coaching will be arranged. Current year Centre for Educational Development of Minorities (CEDM) will monitor the coaching.
Director CEDM Prof. S A Shukoor told that the 62 students who were selected last year will be invited for coaching this year. Students for second batch will be selected through screening test. Total 100 minority students will be provided Civil Services Coaching which will be of 8 months. Candidates belonging to districts will be given stipend of Rs. 1500.
