Riyadh: Funeral prayers in absentia for the victims of Christchurch attack were held in two holy mosques, the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet Mosque in Madina.
According to the report published in Saudi Press Agency, these prayers were held on Friday for the martyrs who were killed in the recently held terror attack in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Expressing his views, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the President General of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet Mosque Affairs said that holding of the prayers shows the attention which is being paid by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince.
