Namgya C Khampa, Indian Counsellor in Beijing today called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at camp office here along with External Affairs Ministry official Gaurav Shrestha.
Speaking on the occasion, Namgya C Khampa said several companies and industries were evincing interest to invest in Telangana State. A team of Chinese companies recently conducted a study tour to Hyderabad and gone through the industrial policy and related Act, she said. She also explained to the Chief Minister that the Beijing-based and other noted companies were planning to invest in the State in a big way.
Namgya C Khampa appreciated the new Industrial Policy of the Telangana government. KCR assured to provide all support and help for the new industries and companies of China in the State. Another round of meeting with the officials concerned is expected to take a final call in this regard. KCR recalled that during his China visit he spoke to many companies and industries to invest in Telangana. The State Government was focusing on infrastructure and facilities for better working environment to the industries and companies, he added. (NSS)
