Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairperson Prof. Kodandaram today decried defections in the Telangana State. It is wrong on the part of any political party to encourage defections, he added.
Stating that defections were wrong, he said such defections would cause political instability. He also lamented that the farmers’ suicides were continuing unabated in Telangana and added that the JAC would announce a program of action on the farmers’ suicides soon. Prof. Kodandaram’s comments assume significance in view of the unabated defections into the TRS ahead of the GHMC elections. (NSS)
