Chevella MP’s fast disrupted, Police arrest him

Hyderabad: Chevella MP and Congress party leader Konda Vishweswar Reddy was arrested by police after disrupting his hunger strike demanding a solution to all kinds of problems faced by Ranga Reddy district at Vikarabad.

The police reached the dharna spot and forcefully arrested the MP. Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Reddy said that Ranga Reddy district was meted out huge amount of injustice even after the formation of Telangana state. He alleged that the district did not receive even a single new job during the last five years. He also alleged that the state government failed to irrigate even one new acre during the same period.
