Chandigarh, December 16: A Punjab government helicopter caught fire at the airport here this morning, leaving two pilots injured.
Police said the chopper, which was taken on a lease from a private company, tilted and hit the ground.
The Pawan Hans helicopter was coming to Chandigarh to pick up state Industries Minister Manorajan Kalia, who was to go on an official visit to Mukerian.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot, they said, adding the two pilots have been admitted to a hospital.
