At 107 Chacha Tughiyani is hale and hearty, getting up early in the morning he rides 50 kms on the bicycle daily. That could be the reason that he is safe from common diseases like sugar and BP. He eats whatever he gets and be thankful to Allah. He has witnessed the rule of Huzoor Nizam Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur and seen many ups and downs at political level.
Mr. Mohammed Ali S/O Mohammed Abdul Ghafoor R/O Chishti Chaman, Mangalhat was born in the year 1908 when the Musi flood occurred. All his 6 brothers and 5 sisters died due to plague and cholera. He revealed that since he was born when the Musi flood occurred, people in his village often called him ‘Tughiyani’.

Mohammed Ali married at the age of 65 and has 8 children including 4 sons and 4 daughters. He married off the elder daughter and is worried about the marriage of three younger daughters. After the death of his first wife he married a widow.
Mohammed Ali’s life was full of trials and tribulations. In 1990’s police arrested him declaring him as Bangladeshi national. He languished in jail for 7 years for the crime he never committed. Due to the death of his wife his children were shifted to an orphanage named Anees ul Ghurba. Mohammed Ali has been riding bicycle for 70 years. He sells religious books in various parts of the city. He earns Rs. 200 daily by selling the books and lives in a rented house.
Revealing the reason behind his enviable health he said that he goes to bed early and wakes up early in the morning, offers five times prayers. He says he is not worried about his poverty but worried how he would manage to marry off his daughters. This thought makes him feel that he is getting old.
