Centre will take amicable decision on T issue, arrures Botcha

Hyderabad, July 03: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Chief Botcha Satyanarayana, while describing the Telangana State issue as ‘sensitive’ in nature, said a decision would be taken by the Centre which would be ‘amicable’ and ”helpful” to the eight crore people of the State.

Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan after meeting Ministers and MPs from Telangana Region in the wake of their announcement of submitting resignations on July 4, he said after understanding the people’s sentiments from all the regions, a decision had to be taken.

He said, “I have informed the elected representatives that the Centre will take a able decision which is acceptable to one and all” and added the resignations were not a solution to the problem.

Mr Satyanarayana said, ”On behalf of the Congress Party I appeal to them not to take any hasty step as the Centre and the party was paying special attention to the issue after gauging the conditions and also the seriousness of the situation.”
