Centre Ready for Hyd High Court Division, Says Union Law Minister

Hyderabad: Reacting to the plea for division of Telugu States High Court, Union Minister for Law and Justice PP Chowdhary has made it clear that the centre was ready for the division of the High Court.
Participating in an advocates conference conducted by BJP Legal Cell here on Sunday, Chowdhary said that the centre was going to fill vacancies of six High Court judges soon. The centre would examine about other appointments if the High Court Collegium recommends, he stated.
Speaking on the occasion, another Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Narendra Modi’s central government was giving top priority to the health of the poor. The centre has brought the prices of stents to be used in heart surgeries to as low as Rs.20,000 each for the benefit of the poor. Reminding the role of advocates in Telangana movement, Dattatreya said that the centre was in favour of division of High Court. He suggested to the two states to cooperate with each other in regard to division of the High Court.
BJP state president Dr Laxman said that the Modi governance was going on in a transparent manner whereas Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s rule in the state was going on in a dictatorial family oriented and corrupt manner.
