Hyderabad: Finance Minister of Telangana State, Mr. E. Rajender assured that very soon, cent percent subsidy scheme for minorities would be granted. He also assured that funds would be released for the implementation of bank-linked subsidy schemes.
He was addressing a gathering organized for the distribution of sewing machines to women belonging to minorities at his constituency, Huzurabad on 3rd February. Sewing Machines were distributed to 300 women through Minorities Finance Corporation.
He mentioned that the educational and economic development of Minorities is one of the priorities of the Govt. of Telangana. He informed that a scheme is likely to be sanctioned through which Minorities would be able to get loans for bank linked subsidy schemes.
He reiterated that Govt. of Telangana is minorities friendly. It introduced many unique schemes for the welfare of minorities during the past three years. He pointed out that the Andhra rulers had neglected the progress of minorities. He acknowledged that Muslims participated in Telangana Movement. He mentioned that TS ranks first in the implementation of welfare schemes.
He mentioned that attempts would be made to get more funds from the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs.
