BSP’s stand unclear on cut motion on finance bill

New Delhi, April 27: BSP’s stand on the issue of Opposition-sponsored cut motion on finance bill in Lok Sabha remained unclear with party supremo Mayawati expected to announce its decision later today.

“Mayawati will hold a press conference specifically on this issue in Lucknow to announce the stand,” BSP General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra said after the party’s Parliamentary Party meeting in Parliament House.

Government is hoping that BSP with 21 MPs would abstain from voting.

Meanwhile, a senior SP leader said the party would “disrupt the proceedings in both Houses.
