London, March 20: British Prime Minister David Cameron, who attended a meeting with European, Arab and US leaders in Paris to decide the specific action in Libya, has said that the British planes are in action over the strife-torn nation.
Speaking outside the 10 Downing Street after chairing the government’s emergency management committee Cobra yesterday, Mr Cameron said the military action was “necessary, legal and right”.
Mr Cameron chaired the meeting immediately after returning from Paris where he held discussions with European leaders, including French President Nicolas Sarkozy, US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and other Arab leaders, the Telegraph reported.

The action in Libya has come after the United Nations Security Council approved for the same as Muammar Gaddafi launched attack against the rebel-held areas. British, French, US and Canadian war planes already reached have started the action.
It was reported that French fighter planes had destroyed Libyan tanks and the US has also started action to enforce the no-fly zone.
