New Delhi: Preparations for General Elections 2019 are going on at a brisk pace. While the BJP seems to be losing ground, the Congress is strengthening its secular alliance. Though no announcement has been made regarding the alliance by any of the parties so far, however, the blueprint of the grand alliance has been almost prepared in Uttar Pradesh and it will soon be approved.
According to reliable sources, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal have taken a unanimous decision on sharing seats. Of the total 80 seats, BSP will get 32, SP will get 32 while the Congress will share 13 and RLD will have 3 seats.
According to sources this time BSP will field 5 Muslim candidates while SP will also give tickets to 5 Muslim candidates. Congress is likely to field 3 Muslim candidates and RLD will give the ticket to one Muslim candidate.
