BJP slams KCR Govt for unkept promises

BJP Telangana state unit president Dr. K. Laxman launched a scathing attack on the ruling TRS accusing it of going back on promises it made during the elections.

Addressing a party meet in Ramanthapur here on Saturday, Laxman found fault with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao saying that his party was working for gaining votes, notes and seats. He took potshots at the CM accusing him that the interests of the state are being diluted for the personal gains. He warned that the people of the state would teach a befitting lesson if TRS failed to fulfill its poll promises. Stating that the Centre was extending all sorts of help to the state, Lakshman said that it was the duty of the State Government to utilize the central aid properly.

The BP chief said that the party was making efforts to strengthen the organisation from the grassroots. He said that the BJP would play a vital role in the state politics in the days to come.
