Hyderabad, August 16: Lashing out at the State government for increasing liquor sales in the state, the State BJP president Mr G Kishan Reddy has said that the State government, which was running the government in the name of Mahatma Gandhi, was violating the aims of the Mahatma by selling liquor limitlessly.
Speaking after hoisting the National flag at State BJP office here on Sunday, Mr Kishan Reddy said that the government has opened the doors to the liquor barons at the cost of poor people’s health. It was not proper for the government to encourage the liquor sales in very nook and corner of the state. The Congress government would have to pay heavy price in the future due to its liquor policy, he said.
Party senior leaders Mr Bandaru Dattatreya, Dr K Laxman, Mr Nallu Indrasena Reddy and others were also present.
