Hyderabad: On the occasion of the 151st birthday of Nawab Meer Mehboob Ali Khan, Nizam VI, the members of Deccan Democratic Alliance and Voice of Telangana offered wreaths on his grave at Makkah Masjid.
The delegations were led by Dr. K. Chiranjeevi. Present on this occasion were Capt. L. Pandu Ranga Reddy, Mr. Najaf Ali Khan, Mr. K. M. Arifuddin, Mr. Ziauddin Naiyar, Mr. Sanaullah Khan, Dr. Lubna Sarwat, Ms. Jasveen Jairath, Ms. Sara Matthews and others.
Dr. Chiranjeevi told that there is a need for Mr. KCR to visit the grave of Nizam VI and to review the situation. He further told that the development of Telangana is indebted to the Nizams. Andhra rulers neglected the tombs of Asaf Jahi rulers. The persons celebrating the celebrate the birthday of PV Narasimha Rao who had opposed the formation of Telangana, have enough funds to celebrate his birthday but they have no money to celebrate the birthdays of Asif Jahi kings.
Capt. Pandu Ranga Reddy demanded the Govt. to erect the name plates on the graves of Asif Jahi kings and also undertake the repair works of the ceilings of this building.
