Mumbai, April 14: Beauty salons sex racket busted in Mumbai Mumbai: In the ongoing crackdown on beauty salon in the Metropolis, the social service branch of Mumbai Police raided two more places at Shivaji Park and Khar and arrested eight people, including a woman, for running a prostitution racket under the cover of a saloon.
In the first raid conducted at Shivaji Park yesterday, sleuths of the Social service branch arrested a woman manager and two others and rescued four girls. A case has been registered by police.
At Khar, police arrested the manager, cashier and three others and rescued seven girls, allegedly involved in prostitution.
Earlier this week, police raided a saloon at D N Road in fort area of South Mumbai and arrested two people and rescued five girls.
