Dhaka, June 05: Bangladesh’s pop legend and freedom fighter Azam Khan died at Combined Military Hospital(CMH) on Sunday morning.
The 62-year-old Pop legend was declared dead at 1020 hrs.
Azam Khan who had been suffering from throat cancer had been on life support at the city’s Square Hospital since March 27 and shifted to CMH on Wednesday.
Azam Khan earned fame by singing Bengali pop songs in 70s and 80s.
