In connection with Bangalore Terrorist Attack case, Bangalore Police brought Obaidur Rahman and his companion Mohammed Akram to Hyderabad from Bangalore and raided two Internet centers in the city. Bangalore Police produced these two youths before the local magistrate in Bangalore. On completion of their two days additional period of custody, Obaidur Rahman was given in judicial custody for 14 days and Mohammed Akram was shifted to Maharastra in a case registered in Aurangabad.
According to the documents submitted by the police, four persons namely; Farhathulla Ghouri alias Abdul Rahman, Mohammed Bhai alias Abu Hamza, Furkhan and Abdul Majeed are involved in terrorist activities.
Police claimed that Farhathulla Ghouri is in Karachi whereas Majeed is operating the terrorist network from Riyadh (K.S.A).
Police arrested Majeed in 2007 in connection with Makka Masjid Bomb Blast case and other cases registered in Gopalapura Police Stations. Majeed was released on bail and later preceded to Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) on 15th September 2009. Police also claimed that he had called Mohammed Akram of Nanded to Saudi Arabia where the Bangalore terrorist attack plan was prepared. Bangalore Police shifted Obandur Rahman and Mohammed Akram to Hyderabad from Bangalore and raided Internet centers in Sayeedabad and Rahmathnagar of Yousufguda areas and seized computer hard discs and other materials.
