KCR meets Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi

Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao, TRS Chief met Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and demanded to form Telangana State as early as possible.

Mr. Azad told him that negotiations are in progress. He said that he would meet him again after meeting Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Mr. Rao has been camping in Delhi for the past 24 days and meeting the central leaders to persuade them to form Telangana or to make some declaration about Telangana before 30th September. He has also met Mr. Vaylaar Ravi thrice. Mr. Oscar Fernandez himself met Mr. KCR at his residence two days back. Yesterday evening, Mr. KCR talked to Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad at his residence for about 1 hour 45 minutes. Mr. KCR has contacts with Mr. Azad from the period of Youth Congress. Mr. Azad has gone to Mr. KCR’s residence in 2004 for finalizing political alliance. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere.

Mr. KCR is staying in New Delhi with a single point agenda of formation of Telangana.

President of TRS has offered that in the event of formation of Telangana State, his party would be merged into Congress, in which case the 12 year old, TRS will be merged with Indian National Congress and its 12 M.P’s and 16 MLA’s would become part of Congress Party.
