Badal charges Congress for doing injustice with Sikhs

Chandigarh, December 16: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today charged Congress with doing “injustice” to the Sikhs giving the state a “step motherly” treatment.

“History shows that Punjab has always been subjected to injustice on various issues, including punishment for those responsible for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots,” he told a press conference here.

“So many people were killed, but no punishment has been given to the accused. Congress always does injustice to Punjab,” he said commenting on the CBI clean chit given to the senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler. “The massacre was organised by the Congress,” he added.

“An actor (Salman Khan) is awarded a jail term for killing a deer, but those responsible for the massacre of the Sikhs in 1984 go scot free,” the senior SAD leader said.
