Hyderabad: Former Indian Cricket Team captain Mohammed Azharuddin filed his nominations for the post of president of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Azharuddin said he has the right to contest the election though he has no right of vote. He made it clear that he was contesting the election following the recommendations of Lodha Committee. He exuded confidence that he will win the election and alleged that the HCA was facing corruption allegations. “I will extend my support to the development of the HCA and strive to produce good cricketers”, he added.
