Hyderabad, September 23: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah today appealed to the people to observe restraint and maintain peace after the Allahabad High Court’s judgement on Ayodhya title suits tomorrow.
“Those who feel that the verdict is not in their favour can go to the Supreme Court. Legal options are available to them. I appeal to the people to observe restraint and maintain peace and help the government in maintaining law and order,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.
He expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of the massive Ganesh idols immersion, the culmination of the Ganesh Chathurdashi festivities, yesterday.
The same spirit of friendship and harmony should be displayed over the Ayodhya verdict issue as well, he said.
He also complimented the Andhra Pradesh government machinery and police for ensuring that the Ganesh idols immersion event passes off peacefully.
