Australian Open: Prakash Amritraj crashes out of the qualifiers

Melbourne, January 14: It was curtains for Prakash Amritraj in the Australian Open qualifiers as he went down fighting in the second round.

Prakash lost in straight sets 5-7,4-6 to 25th seed Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France.

India’s no.1 Somdev Devvarman who is seeded 27th will be up first in Court no.3 for his second round match against German Tobais Kamke who is ranked 258th in the world.

Earlier yesterday last years junior Australian Open champion Yuki Bhambri crashed out in the first round qualifying match.
