Jabalpur, December 13: Unidentified miscreants stole 450 kg-heavy Automated Teller Machine (ATM) containing about Rs 1.65 lakh from a Union Bank ATM outlet at Meerganj area in this district early today, police said.
Security guards Khangar Razak posted at the ATM was found lying in unconscious condition.
Superintendent of Police Anant Kumar Singh said the ATM had not been properly installed. He said the thieves could have taken the machine in a vehicle because of its weight. About 7-8 people could be involved.
Police have launched a search operation to nab the accused.
