Lahore, April 13: The Mohammad Asif-Veena Malik dispute took an ugly turn today when the cricketer and his former girlfriend filed complaints against each other for fraud in a civil court here.
The court of a senior civil judge has directed the police to conduct an investigation and report back whether cases should be filed against the two.
“I have said in my complaint that despite my reminders, Asif is not clearing up my loan of nearly 14 million rupees and also gave me cheques that have bounced. The court has ordered that a case be registered against him,” Veena, a popular actress, model and television host said.
Asif, however, denied the charge.
