Hyderabad: AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Mourya for making a statement on the Ayodhya dispute when the issue was sub judice. He said Mourya’s statement on the Ayodhys issue would come under contempt of the court.
It may be mentioned here that Mourya had stated that there were two ways to solve the Ramjanma Bhoomi dispute if Supreme Court verdict gets delayed. The first one was to start deliberations with the stakeholders and the second one was enacting a law in Parliament to find a lasting solution to the knotty issue.
Reacting to UP Deputy Chief Minister’s statement on Monday, Asaduddin questioned Mourya how he could he make statements on the issues which are in the court. Mourya has no right to speak in such a manner as the issue was in pending in Supreme Court, he observed.
Meanwhile, MNS Chief Raj Thakare also slammed Keshav Prasad Mourya alleging that the BJP was raking up the Ayodya dispute only to cover up their failures. “Rama temple may be constructed but not use it as an election issue. The BJP government did nothing in the name of development and it was raking up the temple issue only to cover up its failures”, he said.
