Arnab Goswami quits as Times Now Editor-in-Chief

New Delhi: Arnab Goswami, the Editor-in-Chief of Times Now and ET Now has announced his resignation.

The prime-time news debate host who is considered to be the whole and soul of the channel has conveyed his decision in the editorial meeting.

“He repeatedly said that ‘The game has just begun’,” said a source in Times Now, “and that ‘independent media is going to thrive’.”

People privy to the announcement’s details said that the phrase ‘The game has just begun’ was repeated at least 15 times during the hour long speech.

It was also rumoured that the Newshour debate host might join the popular UK news organisation, Fox News.

As soon as the word of his resignation came out, microblogging sites – especially Twitter – has been buzzing with posts on ‘Times Now’ and ‘Arnab Goswami’.
