APCC prez appoints study group on Krishna water dispute

Hyderabad, January 05: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President D Srinivas has appointed a ‘study group’ to delve into the dispute of Krishna river waters, with immediate effect.

A APCC release here said AP Kisan Keth Majdoor Congress Chairman M Kodanda Reddy will be the Coordinator of the study group and the members include former ministers Dr G Chinna Reddy, M Buddha Prasad, MLAs N Utham Kumar Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Gade Venkat Reddy, MLC Rayapati Srinivas, former ZP Chairman, Krishna District Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao, former MLA Rayachoti Ramaiah and former MP, Kurnool District Gangula Pratapa Reddy.

The APCC study group will take advice from former APCC President P Narsa Reddy, Minister for Panchayati Raj K Jana Reddy and MP Kanumuri Bapi Raju on the issues to formulate their report.
