Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the state government was ready to hand over the works of Polavaram project to the Centre.
Speaking to the media after reviewing Polavaram works at the Durga ghat control room, Chandrababu Naidu said fibre grid, survey lines would be kept ready for Polavaram project soon. He said that the works of the project were picking up pace and said that the Centre has to give Rs 1700 crore for the project if the state handed the works the Polavaram project to the Centre.
The Chief Minister also alleged that the YSR Congress Party and Indian National Congress are continuously creating hurdles in the developmental works of the State. He said both parties, which involved in corrupt practices, have no right to level baseless charges against the TDP government.
Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the Opposition parties were leveling baseless charges against the TD government and were creating hurdles in the development works. (INN)
