Hyderabad, September 29: For the ensuing festivals, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has instructed officials of the Civil Supplies department to ensure timely availability of sufficient stocks of essential commodities, including rice, and their proper distribution to the people.
The Chief Minister reviewed the Telangana strike situation with the Group of Ministers (GoI) and senior officials at camp office and reiterated to ensure proper security and safety of the public and properties particularly the government employees who were attending duties, a release from Chief Minister’s Office said yesterday.
He also requested the Centre to provide additional power from the unallocated quota of 315 MW. At present the Centre is providing 185 MW from this quota.
